In January 2017, Wallonia introduced a new rule concerning the payment of benefits by Walloon service vouchers. This rule will be effective as of January 1, 2018.
From now on, the paper service voucher must be returned to Sodexo by the approved company no later than 12 months after the date of the service.
Regarding electronic titles, they must be validated by the customer no later than 12 months after the date on which it was made.
Users of Walloon service vouchers have, since 01/01/2017, a maximum of 12 months from the date of a service to pay with service vouchers. After this period, the customer will be liable for the actual value of the service voucher for the company is the face value of the title + subsidizes me to the consumption of the public authorities (currently a total cost of € 22.48 per hour worked) .
